                         imagens de sat{\'e}lite. Neste trabalho, exploramos imagens PAN 
                         CBERS4 e RapidEye, em modelos linear de mistura espectral (MLME) 
                         para caracterizar {\'a}reas de expans{\~a}o no Par{\'a}, em 
                         Santar{\'e}m, Uruar{\'a} e Novo Progresso, e em Mato Grosso, em 
                         Sinop, antes e depois de 2015. As componentes do MLME possibilitam 
                         a caracteriza{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos tr{\^e}s padr{\~o}es e a 
                         diferencia{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos atores, discutindo-se as 
                         heterogeneidades locais e regionais. Imagens CBERS4 possibilitaram 
                         o estudo dos diferentes padr{\~o}es nas cidades, e podem auxiliar 
                         o monitoramento da expans{\~a}o urbana na Amaz{\^o}nia. 
                         ABSTRACT: Three main actors have driven the expansion of the 
                         Brazilian Amazonian cities: public policy, private initiative and 
                         the population in housing deficit. Areas occupied by the Minha 
                         Casa Minha Vida Program, private allotment and informal 
                         settlements are, respectively, expressions of these actors in the 
                         territory, and thus, detectable by satellite images. In this work, 
                         we explore PAN CBERS4 and RapidEye images, with linear spectral 
                         mixture models (LSMM) to characterize the urban expansion of four 
                         Amazonian cities: Santar{\'e}m, Uruar{\'a} and Novo Progresso 
                         (PA) and Sinop (MT), before and after 2015. The LSMM components 
                         enabled to characterize the urban expansion patterns, identifying 
                         the actors. We also discussed local and regional heterogeneities 
                         between patterns and cities. CBERS4 images allow the study of 
                         different patterns among cities, and can help monitoring the urban 
                         expansion in the Amazon.",
